Chaos walking was shown, indicating that the film would actually be released. The upcoming sci-fi adventure of edge of tomorrow, Doug liman starring daisy ridley (rey in star wars) and tom holland (spider-man in the mcu), has been under development since 2011 and has been stuck in production since august 2017, now getting its first trailer.

This is as close as we can get to seeing the mess walk on the screen. Based on the knife of never letting go in chaos walking, the trailer sets the premise of the film: a world free of women, before ridley actually hits the planet.

Chaos walking story:
The story of the film revolves around a world that seems like the end where women and other creatures do not have to hear each other's thoughts through images, words, and sounds called noise or noise.
Chaos walking 2020 in Brent stone leads Todd to believe that the spokel foundation has unleashed a germ that killed all women and made unlimited noise among men. After discovering a silent spot away from the noise in the swamp, his surrogate parents advise him to run away with a new world map, a message, and many unanswered questions.
But he arrives because the source of the silence is a girl named viola, and they have to hurry to warn a ship of settlers - about to come - from the mayor's settings for his army determined to wage war.
The film is based on a number of award-winning novels and is one of the best-selling novels by patrick ness. Director doug lyman has made many successful films such as mr. & mrs. Smith, jumper, fair game and edge of tomorrow.
In addition to actress daisy ridley, actor tom Holland , who broke his nose during a movie with stant man, we also find actor mads mikkelsen, actor nick Jonas and many others... The film is expected to be released in cinemas from January 21, 2021.
Viola ede (ridley) somehow survived the wreckage and then confronted Todd Hewitt (Netherlands) who was inspecting the crash site. Their meeting reveals the nature of chaos walking's sci-fi.
Although Hewitt didn't actually say anything, the transparent flash around his head apparently reveals his inner thoughts, including the fact that he's never seen a girl before. Ed was surprised and later complained of the loudness. An audio commentary from mads mikkelsen explains that it is called "noise" and that it happened to all men on the planet, with every idea displayed in their heads.
A natural question from ridley's character follows: "where are all the women?" mayor David prentice (Michelson) replies that they are dead.
Chaos walking then creates other characters, including mayor davy's son (nick Jonas) who tells Hewitt to watch the noise, and their interaction reveals that Holland's character has some kind of mind-controlling power. Later, ed and Hewitt ran away because someone wanted to kidnap her. Chaos walking also reveals how noise can give you away in battle, with Hewitt's audible ideas that attract the enemy.
Lehman came aboard chaos walking in mid-2016, where ridley (a fan of books) and the Netherlands were appointed as a leader in the following months.
Several additions were made to the actors as Lehmann was preparing to shoot chaos walking, and the main production continued from august to November 2017. But after poor test performances where it was deemed "unlaunchable," lions gate requested a $15 million reshoot, with fede álvarez (don't breathe) also involved as a director. But due to the commitments of both ridley and Holland, the re-shooting can only take place in April 2019.
Lions gate hopes chaos walking can recover all this money and make enough money so you can give the green light to adaptations to the other two books.
Chaos walking is currently scheduled to be released on January 22, 2021, but the trailer simply says "soon" that makes sense given the way covid-19 plays a destruction ball with the film's release dates.
The books are sad and contain deaths so i would not recommend them to people who don't like sad books. You get very attached to the characters very quickly. I would rate these books 8 out of 10. They are amazing. I would recommend them for readers aged 12 and over.
