And surprise that we're getting into the sort of granular detail of the difficulties the two of them had everybody knew they had this on-set romance everybody knew they you know fell passionately in love and had this tempetuous marriage and obviously got divorced everybody knew there were sort of these accusations back and forth but now to this very very specific detail of course last week a variety of charges leveled against amber and yesterday on the stand amber said that johnny threatened to kill her in a variety of places all around the world he threatened to kill her in their home in los angeles.

Against her from her against him in in all of this um but what does this do professionally for either of their reputations or their marketability bank ability i i think there's two ways to look at it in my view it sullies their marketability and bankability i mean these seem to be incredibly unpleasant people uh in their real lives so i think it's a negative there is a school of thought that you know what it doesn't matter what you say about me spelling my name correctly and they've been in the headlines for weeks.
The other thing and this is very significant folks watching this morning might not be aware of this there's something when you make a movie called a completion bond essentially an insurance policy to make sure all that money you're spending winds up with a completed movie and part of that completion bond has to do with insuring each star i think now it's going to be very difficult to get a bond on johnny depp given the demonstration and allegations of his significant substance abuse problems and i think it is somewhat less difficult but problematic likely to get a bond on amber heard because of what appears to be the allegations of her violent outbursts and misdeeds .

Whatever happens in in this legal battle here sam um is it right that uh that johnny depp is also suing amber heard in america about a an article that was in the washington post where she said she was a survivor of domestic abuse right and then i i'm not a genuine legal analyst ruthie as you well know but the thing here that's interesting is in that article amber heard never mentions johnny depp by name but he's saying the inference is clear and that she is calling me a wife beater and obviously we cannot predict the results of what will happen in the united kingdom but i think the results of the united kingdom could well influence what will happen in that american lawsuit.
If johnny wins here uh which i think is a very open question then i would think uh it makes amber i think a richer target in the states if he loses this case i think it's going to be problematic for the case in the states uh mentioned by name though are mr pumpkinhead uh mr potato head pumpkin head relates to leonardo dicaprio potato head is channing tatum um and and i could go on but also named our eddie redmayne james franco kevin costner liam hemsworth billy bob thornton i i mean look just some of the faces here are being dragged into all of this um uh the fallout for all of this uh whether whether true or not or whatever how worried is the hollywood community .
