And when we can read these signals we can use them to our advantage to understand a particular message that the opposite person is trying to convey to us, as well as it strengthens our awareness to understand other people's reactions to what we say or do.

Are non-verbal communication methods resulting from body language, facial expressions, body movement and posture, gestures, visual communication, touch, distance between people, and tone of voice.

Read people's thoughts and body language:

People will often show signs of anxiety and nervousness by increasing the movement of the feet, constantly moving the feet and moving them from place to place and wrapping them around each other or around furniture. They will stretch or twist their feet to relieve tension, or even kick a little in a symbolic attempt to escape. Studies show that observers are more successful in judging a person's true emotional state when they can see the whole body.

Study eye movement:

The behavior of the eye is one of the most important things to focus on when communicating with another person, and you should note if the opposite person looks in your eyes directly or looks away, if the opposite person does not look in your eyes this indicates boredom, lack of attention, as it may indicate deception.

But if the person is looking down, it indicates nervousness, as well as you can look at the pupil of the eye if it is dilened it means that the person in return to you responds positively, but it may be difficult for you to notice the widening of the eye only in some appropriate circumstances, as the rate of eyelashing of the counterparty during the talk shows what he thinks and what is going on inside him, and usually the increase in the rate of eyelashes refers to lying.

Especially when it is accompanied by touching the face especially the mouth and eyes, as well as you should be aware that the peek at something suggests a desire for that thing for example if the person looking at the door this indicates his desire to leave, and when the person looking up and right this he points out that he lied and used his imagination to write a story, but if he looks up and left, it shows that he is telling the truth or when he remembers an actual story.

Body language gives us a lot of useful information about what's going on in the head of the person in front of us, as research conducted at ucla showed that only 7% of the communication process is done through verbal language, while the rest is distributed as follows: 38% through tone of voice. 55% through other body language gestures and movements of the hands and feet and the way to stand or sit.

Psychology explains this fact that the intersection of hands and feet is a sign that this person is emotionally, mentally and physically separated from what is in front of him. This signal is unconsciously visible, making it so clearly visible.

I pay attention to the extent of proximity:

pay attention to the distance that separates you from the opposite person, and notice the way he looks at you if his look is positive or not, sitting next to someone gives an indication of the quality of the relationship, but if the person facing you back away is a sign that the contact is not mutual, in many cases you can know the type of relationship between two people by observing proximity and communication between them, but you must know that the distance of interaction varies from one culture to another, this is not an indicator accurate on the closeness of someone.

Be aware of people's reflection of the movement:

If the person in your interview interacts with you by re-behaving, it mimics the language of your body and therefore means that it is trying to establish a relationship and get close to you.

Note the signs of the hands: the hands show many signs when you stand with someone put their hands in their pockets while standing or put their hand on his head it indicates nervousness and deception, but if putting his elbow on the table and putting his head on it, it indicates that he is listening and trying to concentrate, but putting his elbows on the table and supporting his head on his hands indicates the boredom of the opposite person.

Check your arms:

If a person puts his arms in front of him while you communicate with him, it indicates a defensive posture, as it indicates a closed mind or anxiety and weakness, but if a person puts his arms on his thighs, it indicates dominance, which is the behavior of men.

We conclude from the above that although we may not be able to read exactly what is going on in someone's head, we are nevertheless able to learn a lot through their body language, especially when body language conflicts with what they say verbally.  This undoubtedly contributes to improving the communication process, and understanding what others feel about what we say or do. It also helps us understand ourselves, and know what we really feel by observing our own body language.
