Apex legend 8 is expected to begin in a couple of weeks' time, and while there are several unknowns, there are fair hopes, on twitter, a fan of apex legends publicly emailed mccord to recommend that a damage tracker be introduced. "like maybe you could toggle a setting to show damage?" asked the guy. Mccord first responded players just had to wait one week, then he said the functionality wasn't included in the next patch update.
Mccord, however, said that in season 8, apex legends season 7 will come to an end and season 8 will start about january 20, 2020, the harm trackers should be in position. It is only a couple of weeks from now, so much is not clear yet, but fans have a variety of inklings from recent seasons. Perhaps the most revealing part is how apex legends stage 9 will have a few surprises, which presumably means that stage 8 will be the normal business for something big. But it's obviously not a negative thing, and how season 8 is produced in season nine would be fascinating to see.
